We Started A Blog!

When we came up with the idea for "A Milkhouse Party," we knew that the possibilities were endless.

What started as an extra space for DIY Wedding Flowers snowballed into a creative sanctuary to welcome anyone who wanted to try something new and to make something with their own two hands.  Then it blossomed even further into a party venue for people to come and celebrate milestones in a building full of love, character and history.

Sounds pretty simple, right?

Well, we started to realize that anytime anyone asked us what we "do" at A Milkhouse Party, there was never a simple answer.  In fact, sometimes we felt like this trying to explain it...

There are just SO MANY different things going on at any given time, and we wanted everyone to know EVERYTHING.  Sometimes we feel as if we're bombarding people with our shoutouts and updates, because every event reaches a different audience and we'd hate if anyone missed something that would be perfect just for them.

Oops, see?  We're rambling again.

Anyway, we've now decided to do posts in a blog-like format to help everyone get a better idea on what A Milkhouse Party is all about.  We'll do features on workshops, decor trends, upcycling, different vendors who come to teach classes and public events we've hosted.  We'll lay it all out so that you can pick and choose what you want to see and what may not apply to you.

We're hoping that this helps show the fluidity of the space and the infinite possibilities it has to offer.   Our goal is to help our community to step out of their comfort zones, meet new people or strengthen existing relationships, and learn something new.  We hope you enjoy our posts as we add to the extensive list of activities that help us to continue to collaborate, create and celebrate life at A Milkhouse Party.

Have an idea you think would be perfect for us?  Whether its a workshop, a party or something about our style you'd like us to elaborate on, we are always open to suggestions and feedback!
